Owned and operated by the Amora Event Group here in Denver, Silver Sun Studios is backed by people with extensive event production, design & film experience with over 40 collective years in the industry. We are an innovative crew, committed to “making it happen” when faced with creative challenges. With each project we are able to create bigger and better designs as we grow our inventory and learn new things.

Working with other creatives is our passion. We believe creating art is a community effort, and we are better off together than on our own. collaboration makes any given project successful and fulfilling.

Not only do we strive to collaborate, but also serve our community by implementing sustainable practices where we can, such as using digital pre-production to save on paper, switching to LED lights, and striving to use what we already have when possible instead of opting for one time use materials.

    Jake Ruybal

    FOUNDER & CEO

    With over 26 years in the events industry, Jake Ruybal is a seasoned expert known for blending creative vision with flawless execution. His 18 years in the concert world included managing some of Colorado’s top-tier venues, where he became the steady hand behind more than 8,000 successful events. Jake’s career has placed him alongside leading music talent, renowned event planners, and an incredible range of clients — experiences that have shaped his thoughtful, high-impact approach. Passionate about every aspect of his craft, Jake brings deep expertise in event design, lighting, audio, and logistics. He’s known for his ability to envision the full scope of an event or project while never losing sight of the smallest details.

    Nicko Sochinski

    DESIGNER & STUDIO MANAGER

    Nicko is a Denver-based multimedia creative whose work is driven by storytelling, atmosphere, and thoughtful design. Raised with a love for art and creativity at the center of her life, she draws inspiration from film, music, literature, and visual art as a way to connect with the world around her. With a sharp eye for aesthetics and a hands-on approach, Nicko brings concepts to life at every scale. Nicko graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Production from the University of Colorado Denver. She remains actively involved in both the film and events communities, balancing professional work with passion-driven creative projects.

    Annmarie Ball

    LIGHTING DESIGNER

    I am a lighting designer with Amora Event Group, where I bring spaces to life through intentional, immersive illumination. My work is rooted in the belief that lighting is more than a technical element rather it is an emotional language that shapes how people feel, connect, and remember an experience. While lighting design is my specialty, I take a deep interest in all aspects of event design, collaborating closely to ensure every detail works in harmony. With a balance of technical precision and creative intuition, I approach each event with care, artistry, and a genuine commitment to creating environments that foster connection, presence, and lasting impact. This Philosophy is what makes Amora Event Group a perfect fit for me and a wonderful choice for any event.

    Nataya Songsap

    EVENT DESIGNER

    Originally from the beautiful country of Thailand, Nataya brings a remarkable blend of adaptability, creativity, and leadership to everything she touches. Though she entered the events and design world with no prior experience, her drive and determination quickly propelled her to lead Amora Group’s draping and furniture departments. A proud co-owner of the company, Nataya approaches every challenge with grace, elegance, and sharp problem-solving instincts. Her resourcefulness and can-do spirit make her an invaluable force behind Amora’s continued success.

    Tyler Lee

    OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Tyler Lee is a born and raised Colorado Resident who graduated from The University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor's in Music Business with a Minor in Recording Arts. He has worked in Events, Concerts and Non-Profit Event Management for 8 years starting as an Intern with Levitt Pavilion Denver. He was promoted to become Levitt's first ever Site Manager after one year of Interning with Levitt. Tyler worked with Live Nation's Denver Venues as a Guest Service, Box Office, Security and Stage Hand through multiple venues in the Denver Metro Area. During COVID, Tyler helped launch Candlelight Denver, Dining in the Dark Denver and Neon Brush Denver with FeverUp. He helped expand the Colorado Market for FeverUp into 6 different cities with Candlelight. Tyler spent time with the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association to help plan fundraising events for research, awareness and advocacy for Alzheimer's Disease.

    Tyler is excited to work side by side with the Amora Event Group Team as their Event Operations Manager to put on unforgettable events in his community. Amora brings a great balance of personalized connection for such grand event ideas. Something Tyler has strived for throughout his entire professional career. Tyler in his free time is a busy Father of two for his boys Henry and Micah. He is a devout Husband to his amazing wife, Rebekah. He is a huge fan of music playing in his own band "Tyler Lee and the Ragers" in the past on vocals and guitar. He is a fanatic of the local Colorado Sports Teams like the Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets. At the end of the day, Tyler is a passionate person looking to make a change in the world through events and connecting through events.
